| The Business Round Table tomorrow, at 8:00 AM on Wednesday March 21st, will be an exciting and important one. For the past five months we’ve been discussing the components of a prosperous Ouray community. During these discussions ideas have been generated, notes have been taken, and common themes have been identified. Ouray 2020 Economic Development Plan
This plan was developed based upon input from the Ouray 2020 Survey conducted last spring, focus groups, public meetings and presentations, and individual interviews with community members with specific knowledge and interest in each of the cluster areas. After reading the report, please share your feedback and thoughts. You can leave a comment here on this webpage, place written comments in the drop box in City Hall (it's near the drinking fountain), or contact any of the members of the Community Development Committee with your comments.

In early 2006 the City of Ouray’s Community Development Committee (CDC) envisioned a comprehensive community survey for the purpose of providing Ouray’s City Council with a comprehensive view of community concerns and priorities as they implement policy in the coming years.
Likewise, the CDC sought to gain guidance on its efforts to prioritize its economic and community development efforts.
